How to Use

How to Use

Three steps. Five minutes. Showroom finish.

Before You Start

  • Wash your car first — the NEATLY towel is for drying, not washing
  • Use in shade or when the surface is cool to touch (direct sun = rapid evaporation = spots)
  • Have a second NEATLY towel handy for wheels and lower panels on large vehicles

The 3-Step Dry

Step 1: Rinse & Leave Wet

After your final rinse, don't use a blower. Leave the car wet — the NEATLY towel needs water to glide. Shake out the towel to fluff the pile.

Step 2: Lay & Drag

Lay the towel FLAT on the hood or roof (don't bunch it up). Gently drag it across the panel in one direction using light pressure. The weight of the wet towel does most of the work. When saturated, wring it out and continue.

Pro tip: Start from the roof and work down. Water runs downhill.

Step 3: Flip & Finish

When one side is soaked, flip to the dry side for a final pass over glass, mirrors, and any remaining damp spots. The satin-finish side buffs to a mirror shine without leaving lint.

Care & Washing

  • Wash before first use — rinse in cold water to remove loose fibers
  • Machine wash cold with microfiber-specific detergent (NO fabric softener — it kills absorbency)
  • Air dry or tumble dry low. Never use dryer sheets.
  • Wash separately from cotton — lint will stick to microfiber
  • No bleach, no iron
  • Properly cared for, lasts 500+ washes

What Not To Do

  • Don't wipe in circles — straight lines minimize swirl marks
  • Don't apply heavy pressure — let the towel's weight and nap do the work
  • Don't use on a hot car or in direct sun if avoidable
  • Don't drop the towel on the ground — debris scratches paint
  • Don't use the same towel for paint and wheels
